Canadian pop star Justin Bieber announced on Monday (December 10, 2012) that he is extending his “Believe” tour that will bring him to cities across North America from June to August in 2013. The news of the extended tour actually came as little surprise when the “Boyfriends” singer himself hinted last week that more dates will be added to the formerly sold-out tour last week. "Maybe some more dates for the US, Canada and Europe. want them? good christmas gift idea? It's all coming ... #BELIEVEtour," Justin Bieber tweeted on Twitter. Starting up on June 22 in San Diego, Calif., and wrapping up in Atlanta on August 10, the extension of the “Believe” tour will consist of 30 more shows in venues including Brooklyn’s new Barclays Center, Los Angeles, his hometown of Ontario, the UK, Spain and France. Tickets for those concerts, which also presented Justin Bieber's protege Carly Rae Jepsen, will go on sale December 14 and December 21. For each ticket sold during this tour, the "Beauty and a Beat" star will donate $1 to the campaign of Pencils of Promise, a charity foundation working on building schools for children around the world.
