Justin Bieber kicked off his “Believe” concert tour at the Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, Arizona on Saturday night (September 29, 2012). Unfortunately, the show was not perfect as scheduled because the “As Long As You Love Me” singer succumbed to a mystery illness at the opening date of his long-awaited tour. It wasn't the first time Justin Bieber has thrown up mid-concert as he also got sick while performing in the Philippines last year. The Canadian superstar was seen vomiting twice on stage during his 21-song set. In the midst of performing “Out of Town Girl,” a poorly Justin suddenly stopped singing, puked on stage and ran off. He quickly returned later, however, telling his legion of loyal fans: “I'm sorry, I'm going to slow things down,” and played the ballad “Fall” on an acoustic guitar. Later in the gig, a poorly Biebs got sick again while he was performing “Beauty and a Beat.” The 18-year-old heartthrob immediately left the stage and then returned to apologize to fans. “It's hard for me, you know, not feeling great and throwing up in front of a bunch of people,” Justin explained to the crowd. “Will you love me even though I’m throwing up on stage? OK, I wanted to give you my best show ever, so do you mind if I finish it?”
Justin Bieber sported leather pants, black high top sneakers, a white T-shirt and vest while playing the song “Out of Town Girl.” The singer then suddenly turned his back to the crowd, bent over and literally puked on stage on his first night of his national tour at the 18,000-seat Jobing Arena in Glendale, Arizona on September 29, 2012.
The 18-year-old pop sensation performed on the stage of his concert. He was joined by feel-good singer Carly Rae Jepsen, who opened the show. His 45-city “Believe” tour will continue on Sunday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Justin Bieber seemed a little bit tired because he got ill during his opening night. The teen idol was so sick that he vomited twice on stage. After the show, he tweeted “Great show. Getting better for tomorrow’s show!!!! Love u.” He also explained the origin of illness: “And …. Milk was a bad choice!”
The “Boyfriend” singer treated his fans to tracks from his new album Believe, including singles “Boyfriend” and “As Long As You Love Me” as well as his biggest hits “Baby.”
Justin Bieber managed to finish the concert, despite vomiting twice onstage.
